They won't ever get it, not until it's too late. We can't argue with them. Every time I try to explain how the world actually works they start screaming at me because they don't have anything intelligent to actually say. It will take something so catastrophically huge to make them see the light. Forcing them to do things our way isn't the answer, they need to see that their ways don't work. Maybe in 20 years when our entitlement system collapses and we have a public debt of 400% of GDP both the democrats and the republicans will get a rude awakening as they start to lose their jobs because people finally realized that socialism and central economic planning don't work. It took the Soviet Union around 70 years to collapse and die, and that was a truly planned economy. Our politician's social engineering projects are getting to that point.
